Hello! Welcome to the journey of discovery that has just begun! My name is Maddie, I am a sixth grader with a belief of the magic of reading. And with this blog, it doesn’t take a wave of a wand to find great books, it just takes no more than a person who is on a journey to find books to spark imagination, a new reading mindset, and a passion for reading. It just so happens reading is one of my favorite things to do! Some of my favorite books are Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling, The Benefits of Being an Octopus by Ann Braden, Wonder by R.J. We believe at our school reading isn’t just a hobby, it’s a culture. Which is why our inspiring teachers decided to form an opportunity for us, called Culture Of Readers. This is where we all can express our passion for reading which is my favorite part of the day. I may not know everything, but I sure know this: reading will always be a HUGE part of my life.
